@Ryderbike We all know the Japanese treated civilians really well, right? The point is, it didn't end well for Japan.
As a side note, liberal Democrat FDR had the Manhattan Project rushed to completion not because he feared Japan, but Germany. And we all know Hitler never harmed civilians, right?

@Ryderbike Actually BBarker makes total sense.
@ChipmunkErnie really explain the first sentence and how it applies to America dropping nukes on civilians,
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
@Ryderbike The nukes actually killed fewer people than the "traditional" firebombing of Tokyo, and fewer than the Japanese killed at the Rape of Nanking. "War is hell" ain't a joke or an understatement. Perhaps 50 million people died in WWII -- nuclear bombs counted for a VERY tiny percentage.
@ChipmunkErnie I’m extremely familiar with propaganda. I know all the excuses. You’re not telling me anything new.

@Ryderbike And yet you can't seem to discriminate between historical fact and propaganda.

@Ryderbike And yet the losers have historians and keep writing, too. It's up to the reader to chose intelligently.
