I used to, but then I realized its mostly a ‘grasses greener on the other side’ thing. Even among the developed nations every country has their problems. I think… for a lot of people in developed countries life is mostly whatever you make of it, but a lot of people take that for granted because one of the perks of living in a developed country is there are so many safety nets. The safety nets mostly don’t offer a ‘great life’, but a pathway to a relatively comfortable level of poverty compared to what poverty has looked like historically.
Edit: i’m referring to actually moving, uprooting your whole life to a new country. Tons of people want to ‘visit’ other places for those experiences.

I don’t think it’s only the ‘dream’ of the this who live in under developed countries. Everybody would like to experience something new, all countries have their issues that only those living there truly understand so you fantasize about living elsewhere. I live in South Korea, it’s a developed country but it’s extremely flawed and I would love to live in another country for some time. I’ve done it before so I’m more accustomed to it.
Ive already done it once but id like to do it again atm

@PepsiColaP ahh okay I understand. In my case it is suffering and just wanting to find somewhere safer for me than the middle east. I thought people only do it to run away from harsh life situations, idk if after I reach my dream of leaving I'll keep doing it
