I feel like all the countries are eating a shit sandwich in the hopes a hamburger is coming next

Russia is willing to lose steep numbers of troops and weapons in Ukraine if the energy war exhausts European support and breaks NATO.

Europe is willing to risk an economic disaster if it means Putin is removed from power.

The US is willing to supply huge amounts of weapons and money to Ukraine if it means an isolated Russia and possibly Iran and China

Ukraine is willing to risk Russia turning it into a wasteland if it means winning back its territory

My gut feel is everyone loses more and gains less than they hoped
