My tribe and ancestors originally come from a small simple village called “Ushaiger ” which is currently part of Saudi Arabia. Today however it is unhabitable and more of a historical village.

My ancestors on my father’s side are Vikings that settled Iceland. My ancestors on my mother’s side are Vikings that settled North Ireland and bred with the indigenous Gael people of Ireland.
@JustGoneNow that picture is so cool 😍😍 What made your fam move all the way to usa??
Apparently the first inhabitants (including my ancestors) were Bedouins (constantly traveling through the desert ) until they inhabited the village 1500 years ago and lived in it until it became unhabitable and then were scattered across modern day Saudi Arabia or even different parts of the Middle East (the current ruling family of qatar 🇶🇦 For instance, their ancestors are also from the same village and no I don’t know them lol )
What’s amazing is that the mud buildings have been left untouched And what’s more amazing is that the ppl that traced their lineage back to this village themselves renovated it with their own funds Without gov help To show this piece of treasure to the world And made it a little tourist site that is hidden and surrounded by astounding red looking mountains
I heard they want to keep the old side of it and stick to its traditional clothes games little shops etc
I love when I see little heritage villages trying to show their own story
@Moon3624 that’s super cool. I love your pics. Both my parents immigrated to the US as teens with my grandparents. They came to the US for opportunity, I guess.
