Fun Fact: Did you know that Pakistan is actually an acronym..? Neither did I :P

The name is taken from the five regions that the British amalgamated into a new country:

Punjab, Afghania, KashmIr, Sindh and BaluchisTAN = PAKISTAN 馃嚨馃嚢

It also means "A land abounding in purity" in both Farsi and Pashto, so there is that :P
