The problem with your's and Republican reasoning is that the constitution only curbs "Congress" from making no laws on religion.

It only says Congress. Nothing about the states.

That really needs to change. Especially now this supreme Court has made a different interpretation of the 14th amendment on religion.

They are now interpreting the 14th amendment allows states to put the ten commandments in schools.

The constitution needs to be more explicit. That neither Congress, the president nor the states can make laws on religion.

I know you want to go by the "spirit" of the constitution. Hence why you mention specific religions. Yet legally the spirit of the law has no ground on the constitution. Republicans will always go by the letter of the law with the constitution.

BTW the preamble in the constitution has no legal bearing with supreme Court rulings.

The Capitol has a dome --like St. Peter's in Rome. Think about it. 🤣
What do you mean "IF" the GOP could rewrite the Constitution?? They are busy editing the Ten Commandments now, so they dont apply to rich people..😷

*crickets from Republicans again*
@Waveney They dont have to say anything. They won.. And if you think they didnt, you just arent looking. Trump can die now. In fact it would be convenient for them if he did. I would give them a ghost to blame everything that happened up to now on. But the march will go on with Vance the puppet heading it up for eight more years. But the world is proving right now it doesnt need America. It will be just another speed bump in progress.😷

There’s actual Christian values and then there is what ever Trump thinks sounds good to say in that moment on camera “values” which could be anything.
