Been saying for a long long time this whole issue is a religious partisanship. Attempting to put religion in politics.
Go to the middle east. They are ALL of the Abrahamic religions. And at least Islamic beliefs allow marriage of children and the Hebrew community did so as well back during Abrahams day.
Religion controls. It was designed to control the society.
