I kind of expected this to happen. No more curve breakers.

A group of House Republicans on Friday put forward legislation seeking to prevent Chinese students from studying in American schools, as some U.S. lawmakers are targeting China over national security concerns.

Its too late. They should have started sending US kids to study in Chinese colleges as soon as Covid was lifted. That is where the best is emerging from and where the best computer tech research is being done..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman Apparently we did not supply China with any covid or RSV vaccine or the knowledge of how to make it as they are having another bad wave of it. Crematoriums are backed up again.

@Tastyfrzz More likely because they dont spend on massive public vaccination programs. But your point is well taken. They do specialize in terms of what skills to throw money at. Engineering. Cloning. Electronics. Communications Tech. Anything that can help build a better China, or sell to the world..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman But some estimates are that hundreds of millions have died and cities are be coming ghost towns.

@Tastyfrzz While exaggerated, those numbers wouldnt be crucial to the central government if they comrised Uyghur and other troublsome minorities. I know thats horrible to say. But it is the Chinese reality. 😷

So strange. The American left has expressed outrage in the past when the poor among us went lacking in such optionals as clean food, safe housing, and all sorts of goods and services that while they sound bad, they were not absolutely needed for life.

Now, we speak of segments of the Chinese population whose existence is optional to maintain Chinese hegemony in the world.

Yes, it is horrible to say that we find in our minds a tolerance for mass murder of the innocent.

@MarthannBann888 i suspect it's part of the plan that in biological warfare you do not want your adversary to be able to cure the plague that has been set upon them. It is curious how we set up a lab in China knowing that the virus being studied was so lethal and security was so lax. It's almost like it was planned.

@Tastyfrzz why Tastyfrzz, you took the words right out f my mouth!

@MarthannBann888 I agree completely. I find it at least as bad that some parts of western societies seem to be following a similar path now, while still quoting the words of tolerance and kindness. Thats why I try to stick to figures. Life shouldnt be cheap. But in some places it just is..😷
