Republican Herschel Walker’s theory of air pollution.

“Since we don’t control the air, our good air decided to float over to China’s bad air, so when China gets our good air, their bad air got to move,” Walker explained. “So it moves over to our good air space. Then now we got to clean that back up,”

Wait until Trump explains how windmills factor into this.

@MistyCee “ we need windmill power bc the windmills make power, and we need the windmills to produce power so we can use the windmill power “ - def NOT Orange. Lol

@MistyCee MTG can add the technical explanation of Jewish Space Lasers and how they create forest fires.

"...how windmills factor into this."

I don't know and I don't care what Trump may say, but factoring in the windmills is easy.

China uses coal-fired plants to power the factories that make windmills to sell to gullible Americans and Europeans.

I was in Germany some years ago, and they have tons of windmills on their hilltops and ridges.
And what are the Germans making plans for this coming winter?
Hot water rationing, in case Russia cuts off natural gas supplies to Germany.
Green planning at its best. 🙄 🙄 🙄

@Thinkerbell But her comment was about Trump’s comment about windmills following Herschel Walker’s absurd comment.

Now, you are, I believe, criticizing renewable energy or just how Germany does it? Seems like all renewable energy because of the China comment.

I don’t think renewable energy will replace fossil fuels overnight, certainly, but do you think fossil fuels won’t run out?

Germany gets about 45% of its electrify from renewable sources. The US about 20%.

And I prefaced my comment by saying I didn't care what Trump might say about windmills.

"I don’t think renewable energy will replace fossil fuels overnight, certainly, but do you think fossil fuels won’t run out?"

We will have controlled fusion reactors 100 years before fossil fuels run out.
And if controlled fusion doesn't work, then conventional reactors.

"Germany gets about 45% of its electrify from renewable sources. The US about 20%."

Misleading statistics, since only a fraction of our energy production goes into making electricity.
The correct figure for total energy usage in the US, is that about 12% of it comes from renewable sources, and about 1/3 of that comes from hydroelectric power, which has been around for 100 years or more. So about 8% from windmills, solar panels, geothermal and such.

@Thinkerbell Yes, even lower. Not sure I would say that was a good thing, although it seems like you are saying it is.

I can't accept your rosy prediction from what I've read about the future of hydro, when fossil fuels will run out, and the shortages of titanium for fusion.

We shall see, but I think an "all of the above" approach is the most logical way.
@Thinkerbell Why can't they just use the wind turbines in the winter to produce heat to keep them warm?

" Not sure I would say that was a good thing, although it seems like you are saying it is."

I'm not saying it's a good thing, just a realistic fact of life.

"I can't accept your rosy prediction... future of hydro, when fossil fuels will run out, and the shortages of titanium for fusion."

I didn't say I expected anything much from hydro in the future.
As for fossil fuels, they are expected to last 150 years for coal, 50 years for oil and 400 years for natural gas at current usage rates.

As for "titanium." (you mean tritium) , new tritium can be made as a byproduct of the deuterium-tritium fusion reaction, and deuterium is available in unlimited quantities from seawater.

"Why can't they just use the wind turbines in the winter to produce heat to keep them warm?"

You need wind, and the harder the wind blows in winter, the colder the house gets.
It's called diminishing returns. 🤫

@Thinkerbell But they can feast on the mountain of dead birds. Since black crows will inevitably make up a huge number of the dead birds - all wind power fetishers are racist!
Fukfacewillie · 56-60, M
@Thinkerbell I’m definitely not an energy expert (I stand corrected on tritium, thanks). Just did a basic search, and didn’t see information to conclude what you are advocating. I certainly hope a new energy source will solve our looming energy crisis when fossil fuels run out…whenever that is.

@MistyCee Sigh! kind of reminds me of when Reagan was surrounded by reporters, as he was chopping wood at his California ranch, and he started talking about how trees pollute the environment. His handlers whisked him away real quick.

We can certainly try to use Walker's hot air as a renewable energy source.
