Why do clearly erroneous statements still gain exposure and votes?
What constitutes “the height of stupidity”? Watching some of our elected in Congress that question is easily answered. To add to the consternation, they don’t seem to recognize their stupidity. I would be embarrassed by some of the statements they make, but not them, it gets them air time from the media. another bunch of useless cretins masquerading as important. Importance is, or should be, the ability to provide information relative to life itself. True information, not the BS our media presents! People that work, that trudge thru life seeking fulfillment, seeking advancement, for both themselves and society, need truth, need accurate information from which to draw their path to the peaceful calm sought. What we don’t need is BS wrapped in a pretty bow, a manufactured version of truth presented by people with an agenda. Some of our “leaders” are not only incompetent, but devoid of the shame associated with being habitual liars, with seeking glory, money and fame by being antisocial. some of our elected some incredibly stupid that a 10th grader would shake their head in wonderment. THESE are the people that are our supposed finest, our intelligent, the cream of the crop, but what we get are some so dumb that they make statements asinine and compound that by staring blankly without realizing their ineptitude. One Congressman actually commented that he thought Guam, the island, would tip over from overpopulation. THESE are the people that get elected! That doesn’t say much for the voters, does it? These are those in charge of spending Billions of dollars in our tax money, They haven’t clue about much of anything!
Then there is a segment of Congress where our President during his State of the Union speech asks the Representatives and Senators to stand IF they believe its their job to support American citizens not illegals, and the democrats sit on their hands. IF they don’t believe they represent citizens, just who do they represent? In California, Illinois, Minnesota, Colorado, Oregon and Washington state, it’s obvious they don’t give a damn about their constituents. But they do care about their ability to steal billions while their state bureaucrats sit and watch. Is governing all one big criminal enterprise? It surely looks that way!
Then, it’s also apparent the voters don’t care. but they bitch about everything costing so much. Isn’t it government’s job to advance the citizens of this nation, OR is it their job to steal to advance themselves? You can’t make this stuff up. Obnoxious barely is adequate to describe the conduct of many in Congress. Do our votes count or do those counting the votes determine who wins? Simple question but the answer evades.
