Just wondering
What do liberals have to argue about? Last time it was bc he didn't get popular vote, he did, now he's doing what he said he was going to. Kinda like a blister, gonna hurt for a few, but gets better

I guess the fact that a convicted criminal was allowed to continue to run for president, doesn’t sit well with many of us.
We knew he was going to go after undocumented immigrants, he made that clear. But what a lot of people didn’t expect him to do was revoke existing programs that allowed people to remain here legally while seeking asylum and working towards attaining citizenship here. And rather than transitioning people through this change, he just sic’d ICE on them—no due process. So those people (many with families who voted for Trump) feel betrayed.
Many in my community have long known that Trump is a racist; he has been since back in the 70s when he and his father were being sued regularly for racial discrimination in their properties and businesses. But some of the things allowed to happen regarding DEI under his directive have been more than even we imagined, especially since Trump apparently wants to label any black person who has ever accomplished anything as "DEI", which he takes to mean undeserving of any credit or accolades for hard work or merit.
So yes, this is what liberals are upset about. Trump shouldn’t be president again. And I guess what we didn’t realize was how many of our countrymen were willing to put a convicted felon, racist and sexual predator in the White House, while claiming to respect the Constitution and the rule of law.
And I have a question: How does a draft-dodger who has called veterans "suckers and losers" while cutting funds for benefits merit a military style birthday parade paid for by taxpayers (including those veterans) ?
In what universe is that appropriate ?
