Ultimately, it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. The tax assessor's value is based on other factors and in most cases is lower than market value. If Trump sells Mar-a-Lago for $600 million, the next owner won't be paying taxes on that much as its assessed value will still be lower.

I am watching a TV show on Mar a Lago. The place is a resort of 24 acres. Four gold plated sinks, $20,000. The Trump family has a section for the family. That part has FIFTY EIGHT bedrooms. The resorts earns from $20,000,000 to $25,000,000 per year.

Are you sure, because a tax assessor pays nothing. He assesses the property and the county taxes the individual accordingly.

@MarthannBann888 Yes I'm sure. The owner will pay less in property taxes if the property is assessed at a lower value. That is the way property taxes work.....

Your post was unclear. Either way the assessed value is never what the banks use to determine loans. That judge knew that too.
