@calicuz Wrong. Wars cost countries billions and usually result in massive debt. Companies that manufacture arms do well because they are in the business of arms manufacturing but that success doesn’t flow on to the country they are based in.

I believe you are looking at war profiteering from the wrong angle.
What you say is true, but only on the surface and in a government that operates honestly.
Todays American politicians are "invested" in the Arms Manufacturing Industry, Arms Distribution, and Arms Sales.
It is the return on their "investment" that has them becoming wealthier.
