@MarthannBann888 right, you read one book. Specific to the Stalinist regime. Your use of the word communist, does show that you really don’t know what any of that means. It is the only thing that comment as a means to you is the old Soviet union. Most of the people here that agree with you only use the word to mean somebody that hates America. Alexander Solzhenitsyn, Indeed Cassidy harsh light of truth on his and other peoples conditions. But for you to equate what happens in America to Stalinism, it’s like equating spring shower to Force five hurricane.

When I was a senior in hs, my class was taught civics first, and second semester, we were taught the USSR system of government. Not the rhetoric on either side, but how their governments worked. My class was taught by a SC state senator who came in for that one class. Then I have studied The Gulag Archipelago and various other sources of books from historians. No rhetoric, just the facts. Paul Johnson wrote Modern Times which was a wonderful look at how many governments took power. Maybe that helps.

@MarthannBann888 I really appreciate what you just said. Too many people here polarized by popular politics, end up being cruel to each other. I’m really glad we’re now talking about these issues, and not about sides in an argument. Unfortunately they don’t teach civics class anymore. And the only reason why I have some education about it as my family had a lot of values about being educated. My mom was from Britain, my dad is a descendent of eastern European immigrants. So these matters are very ImportantBoth to our world and in my family. I really wanna express my gratitude that you and I might have a civil conversation. Thank you for your time

Back story on kkk/democrats. The slave holders of the south along with some people from the north founded the party. Andrew Jackson owned 5 plantations and 200 slaves. Democrats fought to keep slaves. Then they formed the kkk that enforced the Jim Crow laws. They called black people all of the nasty things they call republicans now. To keep power.
Every attempt at an equal rights bill during the 20th century was introduced into congress by republicans. In 1964 one finally passed, at which point democrats claimed credit. They passed the welfare bills and claimed they had the black vote for the next 200 years. (Lyndon Johnson is credited with saying that.) At this point they started demeaning republicans in the same way they did blacks.
At the start of welfare, blacks had the lowest out of wedlock birth rate in the country, they were the group that had the most independent business starts, in general, that group was the most upwardly mobile in the country. Despite jim crow. Within 10 years all that changed. Welfare destroyed the black family and black progress. Women wanted the money the government gave and not the hassles of marriage. Men no longer had their real purpose.
Democrats will destroy anyone for power. They love to demean people. They are the true nazis of the western hemisphere.
