Should Red State parents expect their kids to be traumatized by "Christianity"??

Seems to me like we have a real problem, and maybe it's because we haven't decided if how and whether public schools should cope with the non establishment clause, or maybe it's just a question of whether we are a "Christian nation" and what that means, but in the meantime, I'm worried about our kids, who are caught in the middle.

"Traumatised"? Trauma? Really?

You might be "traumatised" by surviving an aeroplane crash that has killed most of the occupants, or having been a victim of years of cruelty evil though not actually dangerous to your life; but what do you mean here?

It is clearly wrong to indoctrinate others into a narrow belief shrouded in ignorance and distrust of others, by parents as well as schools; but it would hardly be shocking to be taught about religion properly. In fact that should be right.

What do I mean by " religion properly"?

So you gain a balanced knowledge not only of Christianity but also the world's several other main religions, so you can make up your own mind which or none to follow; whilst also understanding and respecting the beliefs of others and their right to those beliefs without harming others.

It should have nothing to do with party-politics either, Establishment or not.
