MTG for President?

Yeah, I know, its not gonna happen, but think about what she might add to Republican debates.

Honestly, I think she's better suited against Trump on stage than Fiorino, for example.

She would never run against Trump. I would love to see Cheyney run. Her camp is floating that. Trump supporters would run her out on a rail. She is well behind in her primary. I hope we have seen the last of that rino.
JesseInTX · 51-55, M
@TexChik about 95% of Republicans would run her out. She’d be like Kamala, dead campaign before the first primary.
@TexChik Does Cheney even have a camp?
TexChik · F
@MistyCee the democrats
@TexChik lol. Don't fool yourself. The enemy of my enemy may be my friend for awhile, but Liz is way too Conservative for most Democrats.

Granted, she's not advocating shooting them, but that only goes so far.
JesseInTX · 51-55, M
@MistyCee those on the Jan 6 committee and those that approved her. So Schiff, Pelosi, etc. She’s toast in the midterms.
TexChik · F
@MistyCee Pffft...She's as corrupt as her father. And she seems to be buddies with the washington libs. Corruption appeals to the dems
@JesseInTX That's a really tiny camp
JesseInTX · 51-55, M
@MistyCee it’s a tiny camp maybe, but it’s the ruling camp of the House Dems. Until they are out of the House, not even out of the majority, but completely out of Congress they are the leadership of the House Dems.
@JesseInTX I get your point, but the camp thing came up in terms of Cheney running for President, and I don't see many Dems jumping to her side beyond being opposed to Trumpism.

Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of Democrats who might vote for her, and the Dem leadership I'm sure would like to exploit that if they could, but they've got their own base and extremes to worry about.
TexChik · F
@MistyCee Lets see...Trumpism. Cheap gas, secure borders, mean tweets. I could live with that! Then there's Liberalism. Artificially high gas prices (to support the liberal new order), artificial supply chain problems, artificially high inflation, open borders, artificially high crime rate. Trumpism trumps what the libs are offering.
JesseInTX · 51-55, M
@MistyCee she has little to no chance of keeping her House seat. Her best bet for a Presidential run would be switching parties but that would require both Joe and Kamala not to run and both of them are arrogant enough to challenge her. The only real hope for the democrats is the one they ignored and insulted in 2020
@TexChik I get where you're coming from, but this post was about MTG and Trump and not about Biden.
@JesseInTX Which one is that?
JesseInTX · 51-55, M
@MistyCee Tulsi Gabbard
TexChik · F
@MistyCee You mentioned your term "Trumpism" I was just putting it in perspective.
TexChik · F
@JesseInTX She was pretty angry with the biden crime family the other day.
@JesseInTX Tulsi dug her own grave with the Dems. I still don't know what the F she was thinking.
JesseInTX · 51-55, M
@TexChik she’s a centrist, socially liberal, physically conservative, pro military, pro LEO. Hillary killed her campaign after Tulsi called her out. The Squad would be furious if she was the nominee and that might convince them to a break off party. What they don’t realize is she could probably get Manchin and Synema on her side.
@TexChik Yeah, and to be fair, I let you get me off topic talking about Cheney, but I'm trying to at least get it back to debates and candidates.
JesseInTX · 51-55, M
@MistyCee how? For being true to herself and pissing queen Hilary off? Trying to keep the party from being hijacked by AOC and the squad?
TexChik · F
@MistyCee An impossible scenario is tough to debate
@JesseInTX At what cost? I liked Gabbard, in spite of not agreeing with her all the time, but she pissed off the Dems and if she wants to pick up a coalition, she hasn't done it and doesnt seem likely to.
JesseInTX · 51-55, M
@MistyCee it was personal between her and Hilary. That’s all. That why Hilary called her a Russian agent (ironic since she ok’d the Russian hoax) and why the party is eating itself from the inside out.
@JesseInTX Tulsi's pro Russian stuff is a whole different issue, as is her LGBT positions. TBH, I think she tried to move too far to the right for the Dems, and maybe did it too fast and too abrasively.

She might turn it around, though, but I think it's too late.
JesseInTX · 51-55, M
@MistyCee there’s been no democrat who’s benefitted more from Russian ties than Hilary and a close second is Joe. Even you have to admit that. Hilary didn’t like what Tulsi said and used the same tactic she did against Trump. False claims. The party biting it’s nose off to spite it’s face.
