At the time, I was 14, and I thought it was absolutely amazing that the "rock music world" and the "mainstream culture world" would "meet" like this.

@DrWatson I was 9 or 10, and it was the year of moving to Germany for the second time...from Florida, where the band formed. I just learned that part, being curious about the song and stuff.
