@Cigarguys Yeah it definitely was one of the shows to contribute to the modern prestige television, we see today, along with HBOs The Sopranos, Rome, GOT, and Band of Brothers. Then other studios wanted a piece like AMC, FX, and Starz. Apple TV, and MGM more recently.
However, I consider Twin Peaks and NY Blue to be early representations of this genre, not in terms of production budget, but in the spirit of reaching the "Undiscovered Country." 🤓
Anybody? hello? Ok. ☹

@Cigarguys Twin Peaks is just different to the point of driving someone mad, or to sleep. It's a odd one. NYPD Blue is a cop show, that shows cops doing their cop stuff and personal life stuff. Like really personal. 🤭
I didn't catch many episodes though, cause of high-school and work in the mid 90s. It kept airing many seasons though.

I jumped off that train after Season 1. I just didn't vibe with it and everything that was since released.
I liked Deborah Ann Woll in True Blood and her DMing work on her own series Relics & Rarities and multiple others. And, she guested on Critical Role.......
and you have no idea what I'm talking about, do you? Uh-huh, I can tell by the way your eyes tend to glaze over when you nod your head up and down almost robotically. Well that's better than the scared deer in headlights look I normally get. 😉
Anyways, enjoy your born into a daredevil show.
