I Love Marvel And Dc Comics

So, when I took a shower earlier this morning, I randomly started thinking about the X-Men and their powers.

Not just that but how much pain one would suffer from having it. Like, Cyclops shooting lasers out of his eyes will probably hurt worse than having an eyelash stuck in your pupil.

I think Mystique has the worst superpower. When you think of shape shifting, imagine your entire structure, shifting from what you are to another person. I mean, imagine your skull fissures maneuver themselves to the shape of someone else.

Not to mention your muscles, spinal column, etc. Unless her nerves are shot, that is some extreme pain.

I have to disagree it's a natural mutation so the body would adapt to accommodate the ability. Like how a lobster sheds it's shell.

What would hurt is the initial manifestation of the powers.

I think the worst to get would be telepathy, it'd be so hard to control.

@Jdmaster I think shape shifting will take it's toll. Maybe one can get used to it but the pain can be unbearable.

You're moving parts of your body that shouldn't be moved. It's worse than telepathy.

@SW-User but I'm saying that they can be moved it's a natural thing for her especially considering the speed at which she can do it. Even if it was painful she's been doing it for 300 years so she's just gotten used to it probably wouldn't even be that odd for her.

Wolverine is in a case like that though the metal in his body is constantly poisoning him, all his healing factor does is slow it down. There was actual a great comic written where it went into detail about what it's like for him to heal and it wasn't all that pleasant.

@Jdmaster Wolverine was going to be another example because I know how much the metal bothers him hahaha

@SW-User kitty prides a scary one like what if you feel asleep and all of a sudden woke up hundreds of feet underground.

What would be the best power for today's modern world?

Who's power would you like the most, not counting reality manipulation?
SW-User
@Jdmaster I love Kitty Pryde. She's from my state hahaha Kitty and Yukio are my favorites.

I think, the more accepting one and useful is Storm. Weather manipulation can do a lot.

@SW-User true I do tend to forget about storm when considering powers, I'd have to go for quicksilver, for being handy in this day and age.

But I'd love to have magnetos powers. I think these would be a blast.
