Is Starmer a Tory in a Labour costume?

Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
It's not so much that he's 'more Tory', it's the fact that he comes across as less socialist.

That's what rancours some traditional Left-wing people.

Has he compromised Left-wing ideals for the pursuit of power ?
I don't think you can argue otherwise really.

So the question then is how does he make a 'success' of his time in office ?

That's what we want to know.

Only more Tory
I mean I know it is not really a critique of anything serious but whenever I see him and hear him speak I get "private boarding school Headmaster" vibes from the man.

Largely yes. I wonder what my grandad would make of the Labour Party now? As a die hard socialist I'm sure he'd be appalled.

But better that what we've had the last few years.
