Erm no. Plastic recycling is actually a succesful attempt by capitalists to market more single use plastic by creating the ullusion that petro-plastic can be environmentally sound. That's why they purposfully made the plastic identification box look as close to possible to recycling symbol as they could in order to make people assume any plasric look as if it were recyclable or that they are indeed going to be recycled if possible.
