Favourite superhero

I guess a superhero is only as good as the villains they battle.

For me it has to be Batman, can you come up with a greater super-villain than the Joker?

Always Batman. I first saw the 1949 cinema serial when I was about 8 and got hooked. Then found it was a comic book character. Then the hilarious 60s TV series. Then it went a bit darker with Tim Burton...and even darker with the excellent Christopher Nolan interpretation. So dark with [i]Batman vs Superman[/i] you needed a torch to see it and it was now a totally different character from those innocent Saturday mornings in 1960. But somehow, Bruce Wayne survives somewhere in my imagination as a hero.

@Thomas52 i liked the old Batman serials and TV show too. But in films as he became darker and armored and whispery he became intolerably dull to me.
