More stuff gotten for my kobo
2 souped up editions of Aristotle, long introductions and notes, that's what i need, the spoon fed approach. 1 in the plus and one i spent 20 dollars for, yep my bank relaxes it's death grip after a few days, it's so much fun to get things again, i went through a spectacular exercise where i tried a 60 dollar book and slowly went down, when the 20 dollar Aristotle went through i started at 20 downwards and i could only afford the cheap but valuable Aesop's Fables from OWC's.
Robin Waterfield's edition of Herodotus which kobo has the page count over 1,000!!!
A slew of Leo Strauss ... George Grote's History of Greece long one that is, some more supplemental Greek Tragedy editions and yes Martin Heidegger is there if i want him i just picked his ancient philosophy introduction .... Heidegger leaves me cold ya know? But he'd be a goldmine if the code for him was ever broken for me, same with Hegel and Kant and all those more difficult thinkers, at least folks like Sartre and much more Camus had an aesthetic side.
Well i'll be chilling with my kobo, downloading all the new things and treating it all like some supreme buffet, along with YouTube and Audible. I shouldn't overthink things and just enjoy it all on my own terms, for i know that if seen from an objective pov, i'm doing it all wrong. But the right way wouldn't be fun, so i put the matter to rest for myself.
