I have loved collecting gemstones for some years now. I find them beautiful and enchanting and an obsession that dates back to thousands of years. Some even claim they have special power or energies.
I have two obsidian crystal on the coffee table to help absorbe any negativity and provide some stability and security.

I like to look at interesting rocks, but I don't believe that rocks have anything more to them then their physical properties. I'm sometimes curious about how people decide a specific kind of rock is good for various kinds of energies or cleansing or protection. I figure there must be an interesting story behind it, right? Otherwise it's just randomly assigned mystical traits...and that is not interesting at all.
