Mint mark help???

Firstly, I'm going to start this by stating that this is a German coin... but we are all big enough to look past the Nazi party and World War 2. Anyone who can't keep their comments civil will be blocked

My problem is that I can't quite tell whether this mint mark is a "C" or a "G" - what do you guys think???

I’m inclined to think it is a ‘G’ because the bit going up is thicker than the top.
As in ‘Pfennig’.

It´s clearly a G and it stands for the city of Karlsruhe...that's where this coin was minted.

@Loretta78 Um was ging es dir dann?
@RobinPhoenix That would explain it perfectly!!! I still need to research German currency further yet.

I didn't really see much point for the few coins that I have right now. Most of my collection is either British or Spanish at the moment.

Als je hier geen G in ziet, dan wordt het tijd voor een🤓
@IloveJ Niet eerlijk!!!

Je hebt veel meer zoom dan beschikbaar is op de eigenlijke munt... en door dat vuil lijkt de "G" meer op een "O"...

@IloveJ Uilen kunnen niet recht vliegen met een bril...
At first the bottom vertical bottom line looked too tall for a C, but without the horizontal line it's not a G. So it couldn't be either, or it's something in between and could be both. But then I looked at the g in pfennig, and it's exactly the same as that. Definitely a G.
@NerdyPotato I didn't really study it as hard as I could have before I turned it over to SW.

I figured that I was better using my time to catalogue the coins that I had to get through.
Thanks for BC
