I heard that Roberta Flack was against having her song in Play Misty For Me

I just saw the notification, and didn't look into it so if I'm getting something wrong, that's why, but if true, it makes sense to me because that song is Perfecto, and the movie is of a baser quality, it's a great thriller, but the song imo is too fancy, too deep for something like that. Just a little story that might be nice if one is dwelling on more pressing concerns, it can be like a KitKat to think of pop culture, an Rn'B classic all-timer song, and a good thriller. My chiropractor by the way urged me to see Play Misty For Me, so it has that added back massage allure connotation .....;)

I never thought the song fit the movie but Clint was in his early directing days. I think that might have been his first. I was already a huge Clint fan when the film came out and I loved it. Clint really became an acclaimed director with at least 2 Oscars for Best Picture.
