Ever wonder what classical composer most Reformed theology folks like the best besides Bach? It's Felix Mendelssohn, and this is for me the last music i'll listen to while reading for this amazing day, I have such a great mix set up, and more will be added to, i'm thinking of having a list of 200, 200 being the first of more lists of 200, which will by the time I die will reach all together 2,000. That's the magic life goal number, and for it to be a little more realistic is that re-reads will count.
Of the close to 6,000 titles in my kindle, I'd be lucky if 2,000 of those are really high in the aesthetic level of things, and that's where it's at for me, there's no 2 turntables and a microphone here, this is a schmuck discovering the finest things written, the finest thoughts, the finest novels, poetry, essays, treatises, plays, history, ancient, medieval, Renaissance, Enlightenment, 19th and 20th centuries, and some from the 21st.
Music is a sweet component to the reading, to have nothing but the best streaming through my senses, each day when dad is out doing his mission, I undergo my ambitious art therapy sessions, and everyone's a happy camper.
