Music while you walk.

When I had a long walk ahead of me which I felt would never end, I used to play in my mind something like the March from Prokofiev's Love of Three Oranges and march in time. Sometimes I'd notice people staring at me and realise I'd started conducting it.

That's the only way to hear music in your mind....express it outward in some way. 🙃

@SW-User My apologies, my friend. In the past I didn't tell you as much as I'd thought. As a kid I gave around a dozen piano recitals from the BBC and RTE, being hailed by some as "a new Mozart", a composer I've never particularly liked. I'm a graduate of Trinity College of Music in London, at one time having ambitions to become a concert pianist. I'd something of a breakdown when a love affair failed and that, plus lack of money and being disowned by parents, meant I eventually settled for a career as a teacher. Just a concise autobiography of one particular mortal. I'd like to know your life story but have no right to ask, especially when I'm married. Thank you for responding to some of my mad posts!

@alan20 Thank you for sharing that, I really value it especially because I know how private you are. Some day I will share my mini autobiography but not in public...I'm very private too.

@SW-User And my thanks to you. I am very private but would love to hear about you. I could send you a private email address but don't know how that works on this site. I've never liked displaying my laundry to all and sundry !!

@alan20 Oh no, I don't mean to get any private contact out of here. I just meant on messages which are also private enough rather than posts which are public.

@SW-User Fine. I will try that.
