This article highlights the importance of epidemiological surveillance in public health w/r/t the Texas measles outbreak currently being mishandled and downplayed by an incompetent Secretary of Health and Human Services—none other than Bobbie Kennedy, Jr.
Kennedy’s incompetence has resulted in:
1. Spreading misinformation about safe and effective vaccines such as the MMR, COVID, and HPV vaccines and others.
2. Cancelling critical research funding from flu surveillance programs to children’s cancer treatments, to juvenile diabetes, osteoporosis, women’s health, and many, many others.
3. The firing and resignations of highly qualified health care professionals and scientists for factious reasons such as “DEI”; the MAGA fools fake cause du jour.
Kennedy needs to be removed. There are plenty of highly qualified health care professionals who can immediately replace him and correct the damage he’s already caused!
