1. Measles is a potentially deadly, highly contagious disease.
2. Safe vaccination with the readily available MMR vaccine essentially guarantees prevention.
3. RFK Jr has been emphasizing vitamin A therapy as treatment/prevention of measles.
4. In people who are vitamin A deficient, replacement therapy has been shown to lessen the severity of measles. However, vitamin A therapy does not treat or prevent measles infection.
5. Vitamin A deficiency is extremely rare in the USA and even if someone is deficient in vitamin A the definitive treatment in that individual to prevent measles is immunization with the safe, effective, and readily available MMR vaccine!

Children’s hospitals in Texas are seeing cases of vitamin A toxicity because Kennedy has been actively promoting supplements of vitamin A and cod liver oil. Indeed, in the Gaines County region more susceptible people (especially children) and seeking vitamin A than the appropriate vaccination!
6. Kennedy, as head of the HHS, has been promoting vitamin A supplementation, an inhaled corticosteroid, and an antibiotic over the MMR vaccine. What’s more, he is lauding two health care providers espousing this ineffective therapy claiming without evidence that they have seen “miraculous results” in hundreds of patients with this remedy.
7. One of these “doctors” by the name of Edwards was actually treating susceptible individuals while he himself was contagious with measles!
8. Despite false claims by Kennedy that cases are declining, we are witnessing continued spread and expansion to other counties in Texas and other states.
9. Meanwhile, Kennedy has slashed funds for federal agencies to intervene with this health crisis. Kennedy in interviews demonstrated an astonishing ignorance of his own orders cutting funding for vital health research in multiple areas while promoting his own thoroughly debunked bogus theories of vaccines causing autism.

It is long past time to remove this dangerous, incompetent fool and appoint someone who is actually qualified and capable to lead HHS and the agencies under it’s umbrella!
