Texas Measles update

It just gets worse and worse with RFK, Jr spreading erroneous information about the best way to prevent measles!

Now Children’s hospitals in Texas are seeing patients with hypervitaminosis A from parents dosing their children with supplements and cod liver oil. Supplements are poorly regulated and too much vitamin A can cause liver damage, fatigue, hair loss and headaches. According to Texas Public Radio, the hospitalized children who are now being treated for vitamin A toxicity have abnormal liver function (elevated liver enzymes).

There is a safe and highly effective way to prevent measles—the MMR vaccine. If your children are not vaccinated against measles or if you are unsure of their vaccination status, get them vaccinated by your physician. If they have been previously vaccinated, re-vaccination is not harmful.

Kennedy should resign or be fired for his mismanagement of this crisis and for the other damage he is causing as the head of HHS! It is time to get a qualified medical professional in that role!

You have to remember that the vast majority of measles cases in the USA and in particular the State of Texas, are found among the Mennonite community who's fundamental cultural beliefs do not include a vaccination protocol for anything, regardless of anything they might hear from RFK jr.
@swirlie But he’s the one pushing vitamin A. The kids who received toxic levels are all on his conscience—or they would be if he had one!

Oh, I fully agree with you! RFK needs to be sacked sooner than later, without question.
