anyone obeying such an illegitimate order and/or committing treason on behalf of federal government would be ostracized by their own state (i.e. they'd have no home to return to afterwards for fear of reprisal).

Far more likely that congress & states would act in best interest of preserving the union and remove biden (forcefully if necessary) than risk another civil war...
