Pray For Uvalde 🙏

School shootings are a tragedy, no doubt about it. What is debatable is precisely how much of a tragedy. You cannot tell me these 19 children would all have grown up into saints. I see people every day who could use a bullet, but being a civilized person I would never shoot them. But let us look at Uvalde County. They voted Trump. They presumably agreed with the state gun laws, maybe even thought they were too strict. So in one sense, it was karma paying them back. Maybe a greater tragedy was avoided in the long run. If I could go back in time and kill Baby Hitler, I would splatter that little bastard's brains all over the place. Judging the Republican nature of Uvalde County and the odds that some of those children would have grown into reprobates, I have to hope a greater tragedy was avoided.
