A lot like Oregon rain, actually. except it does so far more frequently here. oh btw i've been down through TN. Lovely people, unfortunatley stereotyped as Bigots, there are bigots down south certainly, they aren't even close to a majority though. Just a very loud noticable minority.

@PDXNative1986 Tennessee is such a great place, I can't wait for the universe to recycle my atoms and send them to Tennessee.

@Tennessee I would tell you that we have the south beat on hospitaility even though oddly people can be very cold up north. Down in Florida everyone was extraverted but Oregon has a deeply introverted side even among our extraverts, but I would also testify that Northern comfort is very real. I've had strangers pay our groocery bills Its hard not to notice all the people that yield the right away just as a common courtesey when driving, mind you more and more incoonsiderate fucks who aren't from here won't, but If you're a native or local and you know someoone needs over you usually let them in at least provided the wait isn't going to be terribly long.
we will let people cut in the grocery line if they have like less than 10 items and its going to be quick as well because we never do so why hold them up?
