Seems like a 3.0 earthquake near San Francisco

Keeping updated. Maybe a 2.8 or 2.9.

Just saw it on Y'all Robot live 24/7.

Sorry about the error I made.

As the it zoomed in. It wasn't near San Francisco, but up little north instead.

Usually don’t feel them here when they are that small

@FreestyleArt I think how much we feel depends on how close we are to the epicenter and how shallow or deep they are. We’ve had 3 that were really scary and each one was different, it is strange. The first one had the epicenter about 5 miles from here. Heard a loud BOOM! And maybe 3 seconds later it felt like a giant was shaking the house. At first I thought an Air Force plane had crashed nearby, then I thought it was terrorism or some other type of explosion. The second one was much further away but the strongest. It lasted a long time like over a minute and felt like it was shaking in waves. The third one I had slept late and it nearly knocked me out of bed. We had a bunch of smaller ones that felt like a big blast of wind whooshed up against the back of the house. I would check the USGS earthquake site about 30 minutes later and sure enough it was an earthquake. And several times at night the birds would get startled and start flapping their wings and fussing loudly. Didn’t realize it was earthquakes, very small ones. Until one evening when I was in my recliner watching tv and felt a little shake like a sideways shake in my chair. The birds started up on that one too.
