I was shocked...
I was in San Francisco recently, one of my beloved cities, and found it to be broken. Housing shortages, homelessness, and dying, drug addicted ppl on the streets, and vacant stores...just like here!

I lived in the City when the vibe was awesome. The dot com bust started to change things and now, I think the big issue, is that a lot of people know there's a lot of programs there. As well as the ability to get 'lost' in the shuffle. A lot of people end up there for that reason. I think there's some on the streets who've lived there and have fallen on hard times. But not the majority.
