@MasterLee People shooting off guns on a crowded train? Real life is not like an action movie. In high stress situations people frequently miss their target. Next thing you know they've bagged two grandmothers and three school kids.

The problem is the easy availability of handguns. The solution is effective gun control laws, with a federal gun license required to own a handgun. And a required gun safety training class to get the license.

@MasterLee I am not against gun ownership. Somerimes guns are necessary. I just recognize that guns are very dangerous in the wrong hands. That's why we need screening laws to prevent dangerous, unfit people from having access to guns.

Do you really think an untrained person faced with an actual shooting situation on a crowded commuter train is going to easily take out the shooter with one shot?
