Hello I’m back from Paris

@Notladylike It was overall good but just so many things went wrong 😅

@JRVanguard That’s a shame Paris is my favourite city I return often. Did you get pick pocketed? What went wrong?

@Notladylike The city itself was beautiful
I got sick twice actually, once was just a bit of food poisoning (that was back home and hit me during the flight so not France’s fault) and now I’m dealing with a sinus infection
Our first hotel’s hot water was broken and our second one lost our reservation, but they did help us find a replacement hotel which was nice

@JRVanguard Finding a good hotel is hard a lot of the buildings are so old and they aren’t the best with maintenance. That sucks you got so unwell too 🥺

@Notladylike I actually really liked the hotel we ended up in
Cause I’ve been to some very old European hotels when I would stay in England often and this was not that😅

@JRVanguard Sounds like it mostly turned out pretty okay. I’ve heard some shocking Paris stories lol

@Notladylike I expected the worst and things came out well
This trip was more for my mom
She adores Paris and I was the only one in the family to have never been so she really wanted to show me around
I hid how sick I really was so she wouldn’t avoid doing things she really wanted to
And I’m paying for it now but would do it 100 times over for her
