I remember it with fondness. I tried in vain to watch Columbo some time ago, nah....my memories are much more satisfying than the show is now relatively to others that are out now like csi etc. Just me.

What I did like was the use of actors who were not only black or white but also (presumably) Hawaiian !

It was a great show. Although I haven't seen the remake, I just assumed it would not be as cool

I don't really remember it, but the new one is good though
