I was talking with one of my cousins who now lives in Georgia
(he moved from Louisiana some years ago).
He was remembering when Herschel Walker (pride of the MAGAs) was running for office.
My cousin said he was talking to his father about how everyone he knew was trying to make sure Walker, a MAGA ringer from Texas, didn’t win.(Thankfully, he lost.)
This is the uncle who sounds like "Boomhauer" from King of the Hill.
He told my cousin,
"Yah, gotta be careful, ya do—the trees be votin’ for the axe, thinkin’ it’ll help ´em just cause the handle’s wood, too !" 😆
