Gavin Newsom on Trump and "riots?

This was a live interview from yesterday with Governor Newsom. 15 minutes but can get the crux of it early.

This is leadership.

And it reiterates my disgust with the far left turning on him because of an entirely made up controversy over trans athletes (he was talking about COMPETITION - not trans rights which he forcefully protects) and his podcast with MAGA guests (there's a bigger strategy at play).

THIS is what the nation needs right now. He's taking the fight to them and he WILL win.

He likes to use the phrase "California Strong." And that's a real thing. And in the case he's talking about "America Strong."

Proud of my Governor. He's the real deal.

@Ynotisay Yes I watched it. I don't see the state of things in CA in a positive light, well beyond this. The lack of effort to better manage CA wildfire situations being well up on that list. Newsome /CA officials put illegals ahead of federal employees and US citizens, unacceptable in my view. CA/Newsome filed suit for an immediate ban against the action, which did not occur. A court date is set, but no ban was issued despite the request.

Contrary to Newsome's statements, there are in fact provisions and historical instances to do exactly what was done. Johnson sent National Guard into AL in the 60s to quell riots and Eisenhower sent the 101st Airborne into Little Rock, Arkansas to ensure safety of the Little Rock 9 and ensure supreme court rulings involving them were upheld.

Trump posted evidence of communication w Newsome ahead requesting the Guard be called out. Newsome refused and Trump went around him per exusting precedents and allowances in the laws.

You talk to me about lack of respect when you make incorrect assumptions and treat them as fact? When you ignore readily available contradicting information to Newsome's statements .. and your own?
