Gee, that's darn nice of Newsom considering he is responsible for a lot of the homelessness, the high crime, being an open border sanctuary state, the moving out of people, businesses and corporations, etc. Oh, wait, it's an election year so Newsom has to pretend he doing something about all these things to look good in the eyes of his sheep.

Oh, wait, it's partisan politics so common sense or care for the good of all are unwelcome. My candidate's great so yours must stink and anyhow, screw him and them if he cares about people who don't have homes.

What is not mentioned is there are certain rules that must be applied.
One of the rules is the homeless must be given the option of housing. If no housing is available, absolutely nothing can be done!
It's a useless law! The cities will not make the housing available.
The city I'm living in is broke as is! Not enough money for even police or fire department.

Republicans recently attempted to pass a law that they knew was unconstitutional. Yet attempting it looks good! Put the blame on the Democrats for not passing it instead. Looks even better!
They don't have to admit they where attempting anything unconstitutional, while they are saying they are really trying!
Right! Republicans have a majority in the house! So your own people didn't vote for it, because it never would have passed your Republican SCOTUS on State's rights! Voter ID is a STATES rights issue, that Republicans cherish for local redistricting. Put it on the federal level you're not going to be able to deny ID! Therefore you won't be able to deny voting.

@TryingtoLava Redfern is a well known suburb of Sydney Australia is a well known for drugs, unemployment, Aboriginals, high crime rate - better off staying away

Only on state land. It's horrible, but not as widespread as if all land was included.
