California is the worst place to live.

That's what some people here keep telling me. What am I supposed to do?

I went for an outing today. I hadn't realized it before, but let me just tell you how bad it is here.

This was my favorite park, on a hill that overlooks the ocean. What a crappy place. And that man and his kids. I mean, what kind of a person sits in a park with his children, playing the guitar, then passing it around to his kids to play on a family outing. Unacceptable!

And what's with all this fun happening. A man flying a kite with his daughter?! Doesn't he know how large our LBGTQ+ population is? Best he leave them with a Catholic priest. And that man who saw us park in the handicap spot. He walked over to tell us that we could get a wheelchair with balloon-type wheels that you can take on the sand. Shouldn't have turned my back on him; I could have easily gotten shanked. What's with all those American flags in front of every store front. We're not patriotic here. We're just a bunch of commie nutbags.

What's the deal with all these palm trees? I think they're picking up signals from my COVID chip. And look at that seedy marijuana dispensary. Best be like the great state of South Carolina, where they don't even allow for medicinal purposes. Phooey on those people with cancer and other painful illnesses.

I'm packing my bags.

California government is one of the worst in the nation, but there's a reason people aren't beating down their doors to get out. It's Paradise.
@originnone
I have to disagree. We are the 5th largest economy in the world, and that's comparing it to other countries . We run on such a high surplus, we provide food assistance to anyone, no proof required. Other states have rejected the affordable care act but with Covered California, the state will either subsidize your insurance, or give free insurance if you are at poverty level.

There are states that send their "illegals" here in busses thinking they're getting the better of us because we are a sanctuary state. We feed and house these poor immigrants and are grateful to have them. Most are families looking for refuge, escaping horrible, violent conditions in their own countries. We provide them with legal representation and help them apply for asylum. In turn they become good, tax-paying citizens. We at glad to have them, because other states won't take care of them like we do. People are not illegal. This earth belongs to us all. They are merely undocumented .

So much more. I'd encourage you to listen to this interview, conducted by FOX NEWS with my beloved governor, Gavin Newsom.

People/media/right wingers constantly try to make this state look like a mess.
