i haven't decided if my sister's bf fiancé is a weasel or not..

why's he going to alabama for a marriage certificate instead of registering a marriage license in florida where we live.. is this suspicious or what? what's the legality of that if anything? 😒 this is why my dad is not fond of the dude.. 😒 what's up with that? is that still a legal marriage or is he trying to get out of it somehow?
