has your city ever hosted the world's fair?

Expo 86, I was 13 when I went to it. I even had an Expo 86 Swatch watch.

@Sapio maybe i bumped into you...we were the little hellions that hotboxed the gondolas. also got to see the jeff healey band at 86 street (obviously before it became a night club) ...that was pretty cool.

@beermeplease so you were old enough to get a lot out of it. All I got was a memory of seeing the Olympic torch Run. That's far from an empty experience, but we also had debt for, what,v30 years? 😡

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP yeah, i heard it was a bust. i think ours was a relatively good success. without it we wouldn't have upgraded the sea to sky highway (vancouver to whistler) and the canada line (rail service from airport/richmond to waterfront downtown vancouver)
