If US Cities were States: Population
Assuming I did the maths right...
I'm shocked that NYC would of been the 13th most populated if it were a state, I was thinking top 30, not top 15.
Also at LEAST 29 cities are more populated than the least populated US State Wyoming, it's kinda mind blowing, at least to me.
1. California
2. Texas
3. Florida
4. New York
5. Pennsylvania
6. Illinois
7. Ohio
8. Georgia
9. North Carolina
10. Michigan
11. New Jersey
12. Virginia
If New York City was a state, it would be slotted here at #13
13. Washington
14. Arizona
15. Tennessee
16. Massachusetts
17. Indiana
18. Missouri
19. Maryland
20. Wisconsin
21. Colorado
22. Minnesota
23. South Carolina
24. Alabama
25. Louisiana
26. Kentucky
27. Oregon
28. Oklahoma
If Los Angeles was a state it would be slotted here at #29 as a state.
29. Connecticut
30. Utah
31. Iowa
32. Nevada
33. Arkansas
34. Kansas
35. Mississippi
If Chicago AND Houston were states they would be slotted here at #36 as states.
36. New Mexico
37. Nebraska
38. Idaho
39. West Virginia
If Phoenix, Philadelphia and San Antonio were states, they would be slotted here at #40 as States.
40. Hawaii
41. New Hampshire
42. Maine
If San Diego and Dallas were states, they would be slotted here at #43 as States.
43. Montana
44. Rhode Island
45. Delaware
If Austin, Jacksonville, San Jose and Fort Worth were states, they would be slotted here at #46 as states.
46. South Dakota
If Columbus, Charlotte, Indianapolis, San Francisco and Seattle were states they would be slotted here at #47 as States.
47. North Dakota
48. Alaska
If Denver, Oklahoma City, Nashville, El Paso, Washington D.C., Las Vegas and Boston were states they would be listed here at #49 in States.
And I ran out of top 25 Cities Population list before getting to the last two states! But using a different list, Detroit, Louisville, Portland and Memphis might of all come before state #50
49. Vermont
50. Wyoming
