@Moneyonmymind It definitely can be. One thing, though, because the cost of living is so high the salaries are a bit higher. But the expense is the only thing I’d change.

@Jenny1234 In a lifetime of living here, I’ve experienced only one earthquake that caused damage: Loma Prieta, on Oct 17 1989. Occasionally there will be a jolt, but they’re generally light. Where my parents were born (New Orleans, Louisiana) there were frequent hurricanes, tornadoes and floods. They came just about every year, and clean up was always necessary. I’ve never experienced a hurricane or tornado in California, and where I live it doesn’t flood.
