To the citizens of Maui
I understand that you are going through a challenging time.
With everything you had turned to smoke and ash i encourage you stay strong. The truth is I can not understand the struggle and grief you are facing. Between the loss of your homes families friends and neighbors. But you have my support in words and spirit. I would love to give a helping hand unfortunately the evidence is that FEMA and The Red Cross are only acting as a hindrance to help you that you need.
I stand with the locals. I encourage you not to let the corporate vultures take control. I encourage you to document everything. I encourage you to let it be known how everything truthfully is!
And when the time comes I encourage you to seek justice for those lost and the justice you deserve.
I wish words of encouragement and compassion was not the only thing i could offer i would much rather be there helping. But also i understand that resources are very sparse and well i cant afford the transportation.
