Some place peaceful where the climate was moderate and the dirt was a rich black loamy soil like we had in Missouri and no bitey animals. I could practically live outdoors and have the best garden
@Ontheroad I was born in Northwestern Missouri on a farm and the soil was rich. The biggest onions grow there and the part of Iowa near it, peas did really well, cabbages, etc Here in Oklahoma about the time you start picking cucumbers it gets too hot and they stop bearing. Iffy weather at best
@cherokeepatti Yep, totally - that part of Missouri is beautiful. I had friends there years ago and always loved visiting them. The weather could get iffy, but beautiful nonetheless.
