I am still in awe, how God revealed Himself to mankind. God made everything perfect for us in the beginning. It was man, who messed things up.

Yet, God is not mad at us. Not even a little bit. He doesn't hate us. Because we have sin in us, he had no alternative but to shed his blood in payment for our sins, because there is no washing away of our sins, but by a perfect blood sacrifice... that being, Jesus. I'm sure God didn't want to send His only son down here to die, so cruelly and suffer so horrifically, but He didn't have to, because no one made Jesus die on the cross for our sins. He volunteered to pay for our sins, because he loves us so much and He proved it. We can't fault him for that. He didn't have to do that. But He loved us so much, He wanted to. If it wasn't for Jesus, we'd all have been doomed to die and go to hell forever. How would we like that? So we should be very grateful to Him. Not only that, we have so much to be grateful for. We are blessed with many things, if we'll stop and think about it. It's hard to be grateful and hateful at the same time. A grateful heart brings great joy and peace. It's important to count our blessings. So many do without.

The key to salvation is total commitment. He doesn't want half our heart. He wants us to love him with all our heart, as He does us. And after all He did for us, I don't think that's asking too much. And I figure this way...Jesus gave his very best for us. After all he's done for me, how can I give Him less?
What I find to be true for me, is the more I talk with him the more of his time I want. And he is always there to give and he gives generously! The failures are all mine and never his.
My greatest hope is that more get to know Him, rather than what is said about Him.

@nonsensiclesnail True, and faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. None will know unless they hear it. Thus, the deciple's mission, to spread the good news of salvation in Christ.

Thank you, sister Grace for your prayers and this wonderful reminder of God's Grace to all those who believe in Him and call upon Him to forgive us.

@Dino11 Yes, that is one way of saying it, but only if we use it.
It’s those “ delicious reds” that got us where we are today!
